Gavin got some good lessons about how to drive a tractor from Papa. He'll be ready to farm any day now!

Snuggle time with Grandma H
MJ had her first road trip today to see Grandma and Papa H, Uncle Rob, and Uncle Dick and Esther who are in from California. It was a nice peaceful visit.

Throwing rocks!
I told Gavin Saturday morning that we were driving to the forest moon of Endor to hunt for Ewoks. When we didn't see any he said "shah Dada, they are sleeping"! That didn't stop him from chucking rocks into their drinking water!
Another big summer weekend
It was another big summer weekend for the Smith family. Dad took Friday off to give mama a little break and took Gavin to see the "Planes" movie. Saturday was another big day as Dada took Gavin to Hocking Hills State Park for an AIPG field trip. Mikayla took in her first Crew game (from home of course) and cheered the Crew on to victory! Sunday was relaxing with mama off to visit a friend and dad and Gavin goofing off in the back yard.

Splash park!
Yesterday was my last day off for paternity leave so I took g to the splash park in Dublin. He had a blast!
Gavin spooked the baby!

Fashionable
Even though Aunt Kate doesn't work at tommy anymore she was still prepared with some nice outfits for Mikayla.
Home at last!
Little Mikayla and Mama got to come home on Wednesday August 1st, and Aunt Katie was quick to snatch her up and get in some snuggle time.
Fountain time
We had to take Gavin out on Tuesday to stretch his legs. He found the reflecting pool/fountain at OSU med center very entertaining. Needless to say, he got soaked.
The family is getting bigger!
Well its been a long week and its been much easier to post on FB so I've been a little lax with the blog. This photo was taken Tuesday when Gavin got to meet his little sister for the first time. He was very curious and gentle, then decided he'd rather watch cartoons!
